Energize Together
Having a local person to help residents work through these options can make it easier to move from considering an upgrade to getting it done.

The Municipality of the District of Lunenburg (MODL) and the Town of Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, have jointly launched "Energize Together", an energy navigator program serving residents of both municipalities whose combined population is about 35,000.
The program builds on the navigation service developed through "Energize Bridgewater," funded by the federal Smart Cities Challenge and previously available only to Bridgewater residents.
The Energy Navigator can help residents:
-Identify available home energy programs, rebates and financing options.
-Find programs that fit their household’s needs.
-Understand eligibility requirements and navigate the application process.
-Connect with program providers and other services.
-Understand the next steps following a home energy assessment.
MODL will administer the navigation service, with support from Bridgewater’s remaining Smart Cities Challenge funding. Clean Foundation will administer supplemental funding for eligible home energy upgrades, including additional heat pumps or work needed to enable approved upgrades through the HomeWarming Program. EfficiencyOne will help coordinate access to Efficiency Nova Scotia programs, with eligibility determined by each program’s requirements.
Having a local person to help residents work through these options can make it easier to move from considering an upgrade to getting it done.
