Atlantic Canada Solar Summit 2025: a growing distributed energy community
A look back at Solar Nova Scotia’s 2025 gathering at the Halifax Convention Centre.

The 2025 Atlantic Canada Solar Summit brought the region’s distributed energy community together at the Halifax Convention Centre. The original post recognized Solar Nova Scotia, event organizer Lara Ryan, the speakers, exhibitors, volunteers, sponsors and attendees who made the gathering possible.
The event included industry training workshops supported by Charge Solar and Nova Scotia Power, a Charge Solar networking event and a national distributed energy resources roundtable hosted by the Canadian Renewable Energy Association.
The central theme was the role of distributed energy in Nova Scotia’s electricity transition. Alongside new generation and grid investment, customer participation, skilled installers and a connected local industry help turn policy objectives into practical projects.
